About Me

Practical Guidance You Can Count on

If you are in the early or middle stages of divorce, you are likely being asked to make financial decisions before you feel ready. There may be court deadlines, legal documents, and conversations that feel overwhelming or rushed. It is a lot to carry, especially when emotions are still raw.

I’m Darci, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. I work with women who want clarity, stability, and a clear understanding of their financial options during divorce.

This work is personal for me. I grew up with divorced parents, and I now share custody of my 16 year old daughter. I know how stressful court proceedings can be and how heavy the financial uncertainty feels when so much is changing at once. I also learned firsthand how much harder the process becomes without the right professional support. Going through parts of custody order without an attorney added unnecessary stress and complexity, and it reinforced how important it is to have the right team in place.

A couple of years ago, I earned my CDFA designation, and it confirmed something I already felt deeply: divorce is not just a legal process, it is a financial one. Decisions around property, cash flow, support, taxes, and retirement can shape your life long after the divorce is final. My role is to help you slow things down, understand your choices, and walk into negotiations informed and prepared.

My approach is calm, collaborative, and judgment free. We focus on progress over perfection and on creating a financial plan that supports both your immediate needs and your long term future. You do not have to have everything figured out to start. You just need someone who can help you see the full picture and guide you through it with clarity and care.

Personal

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me hiking with my husband, our dog, and yes, our cat. I love psychological thrillers but cannot handle scary movies. Travel is my happy place, from hiking the Inca Trail in Peru to exploring Ireland, Thailand, and Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I’m a slow-travel enthusiast and serious trip planner, future travel agent maybe. I have a 16-year-old daughter who could not care less about finances. My true passion is dancing, from ballroom competitions to Latin hustle and Flamenco. The scariest thing I’ve ever done was rock crawling at one of the largest off-road races in North America, in front of thousands of people.
